Allergies + Sun Benefits + Worry + Self Worth
Short & sweet as it's too hot for anything else!
Hello,
Well, it’s a blazer this week, isn’t it!? I really hope you are making good use of all the sun, making your vitamin D (and eating enough vitamin K2-7 to make use of the D), and achieving a healthy glow!
The sun does more than just help us make vitamin D. It’s crucial for many systemic functions. But, it’s imperative to ground it out!
You’ll find more information about all of these points below…
Health Information To Support Basic Bodily Functions
Boosting Natural Immunity With Sun Exposure & Essential Oils
Vitamin D & Vitamin K – for immune health & proper systemic function
Vital Importance Of Grounding – improving focus & attention levels & significantly reducing chronic inflammation
Sun Protection Oils
For the new people on the list, the following two articles are in the top ten most important articles I’ve ever written, and are essential reading if you want to cut out carcinogenic (cancerous) ‘personal care’ products from your life:
Carrier Oils For UV Protection
Essential Oils For Sun Protection: includes a list of phototoxic essential oils
After Sun
Taking care of our skin after sun exposure is really important. Three things are critical for this.
We must shower before applying any products
It would be a great time to remineralise
We need to feed our skin with other things that it needs
There are huge benefits to sun exposure, but it can be a little hard on our skin, especially as it tends to make us sweat. We lose 40% of our bodily waste through our skin, so getting a good sweat on is really good for us. However, showering is critical for removing the waste we have expunged!
We tend to lose minerals in our sweat, so it’s a great time to remineralise using products like Mineral Spritz. This is full of magnesium, so great for silky feeling skin and muscles, and a great night’s sleep!
Using Aloe Vera Gel as an after sun is also a great idea. It promotes collagen, which is anti-ageing, and also promotes cell regeneration, and leaves our skin feeling amazing.
You can lock the Aloe Vera Gel in with a carrier oil of choice, or a Wild As The Wind Bath & Body Oil.
Clays For Detox & Remineralisation
I love using detox clays in the summer. They remineralise the skin and draw out impurities, leaving our skin feeling amazing and looking radiant.
Summer is the best time to detox for a number of reasons. We are designed to do it at this time of year.
Plus, on a nice hot day, we can do a full body clay outdoors, and rinse it off in the garden without silting up your drains.
I personally love doing clays at the beach for a number of reasons... They dry nice and evenly in the sun, and the sea is the perfect way to rinse off afterwards, without creating any mess at home.

FACIAL OIL No. 2 & Emotional Health
When I am out doing markets and events, I always ask people if they would like to try my Facial Oil No. 2, on the back of their hand, suggesting that it might smell like heaven.
Over the years, I have learned how to interpret the different ways in which this oil smells, for each individual, based on where they are at on their natural health journey. This allows me to provide tailored insights for each individual, highlighting their most pressing natural health issue. This provides people with the information needed to hone in on what is the most beneficial current focus within their lives.
If people smell the face oil as predominantly woody, then I know they are having stamina issues, (usually because they are taking on too much or just overwhelmed by world events, etc.)
Others smell the face oil as predominantly herby, (usually because their sleep is compromised in one way or another.) This is sadly a common focus for quite a few people.
Sleep is most commonly compromised due to an inability to stop thinking or due to worry… so, I have found a video that will hopefully help the worriers and over-thinkers out there… You will need to watch it on YouTube, as per the instruction below.
