If you are anything like me, then you have been taking extra care of your skin… Mine has been feeling particularly ravaged by the weather in general this year, so I’ve decided to do a few of things to make things better for all of us…
Share what I have been doing to minimise skin damage.

As the sun has likely been your main concern of late, covering oils for sun protection is probably a good place to start, especially for new subscribers.
Nevertheless, before I do, I need to mention something… very briefly… I’ve sadly had to avoid the sun in recent weeks… but, as the reason for this is an ongoing issue, it’s too early to write about it here… I will hopefully cover the full story, and the oils I’ve been using, in a future post, once it’s all over.

Sun Protection Oils
As I’ve mentioned these oils a couple of times in previous posts this year, I’ll keep this section brief…
Before needing to avoid the sun, I was using Sun Tanning Essential Oil Blend diluted in Raspberry Seed Oil for the beach days I managed to squeeze in… all two of them!

This post mainly covers the good number of carrier oils that have been discounted. But, there are also a couple of important essential oils and essential oil blends that have also been discounted, often significantly.

Cacay Oil
Cacay Oil is an exceptionally beneficial oil. Sadly, this fact has largely remained a secret, even though the incredible benefits of this affordable oil means that it can seriously out-perform more popular oils in certain circumstances.

Organic Tamanu Oil
I’ve been recommending Organic Tamanu Oil to a few people of late. It is the ultimate carrier oil for reducing scarring. Not only will it limit scarring from fresh wounds, it is also excellent for long-term scarring.
I have been advocating it for post-operative wounds as well as the scars we get from problem skin conditions like acne and eczema, etc…
For optimal benefits Organic Tamanu Oil should be used at a 50% concentration with another nutrient dense oil, such as Unrefined Moringa Oil or Organic Rosehip Oil.
I recommend a 50:50 blend of Organic Tamanu Oil with Unrefined Moringa Oil for eczema and dermatitis. This is one of the ultimate combinations for dry skin conditions.
